Here is a new design of the Air Max 1 from Nike. It is called the Yellow Safari, and comes in a white/yellow/gray colorway with the safari print in yellow. The white toebox also features mesh material. The bad news is that as of right now, these are just samples, but hopefully they make it into production. [EUKicks]

Orchard Street’s affair with Reebok continues with this strappy new lovechild. The Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0 appears here in an interesting icey green design. They feature straps in lieu of lower eyelets and the laces begin above the velcro. These same straps are repeated on the heel. This is presumably an aesthetic choice, although it might also aide in the fit. They also look to have a nice patterned lining, but we’ll have to wait for more pics to be sure. We were excited to see a slightly modified version of this classic colourway release in women’s sizes a couple days ago, but it’s even better to have the original in a full sized run. The Nike Air Classic BW in Persian violet dropped in most parts of the world but never hit the United States. This very official colorway has finally started to hit US based retailers, if you have been waiting, start looking for them at US based Nike retailers including Vault.

It looks like the Nike SB Air Trainer 2 that was featured earlier this month will be releasing at the end of April with the rest of the May collection. The latest Air Trainer 2 sports a combination of black perforated leather, suede and mesh with white and pink accents. A liberal amount of pink is applied to the sneaker appearing on the strap, eyelets, heel logo stitching, laces and sole. To complete the simplistic design, white is placed on the midsole and collar. Keep an eye out for this Air Trainer 2 to pop-up at your local Nike SB dealer near the end of this month.

New Balance has just released two new colorways of their BB730 model. The BB730 Limited Edition series looks more like a set of basketball shoes, rather than traditional runners which New Balance is known for. There’s a brown / white colorway, and a black / purple colorway; both are equally well designed. New Balance continues to release sneakers outside of the United States, so all of you better sacrifice those extra few dollars for shipping because it’s well worth it.

The Nike Air Max 1 has finally appeared in hybrid form, following suit as so many of Nike’s other shoes. This is the new Nike Air Maxim 1, and we definitely approve of this hybrid. The upper is predominantly white with red accents, which go really well together. What’s your opinion on Nike’s new design?

Nike Blazes Mids have taken a step back from the wild multiple colors and patent leather material. Nike Blazer Mids has dropped simple colorway scheme of Black and White. The Nike Blazer Mid upper is made out of a black denim. The Nike Blazer Mid are only available in kids sizes but this colorway should drop in larger sizes soon.

Nike’s Chinese inspired models are increasing more and more with the rising interest in Chinese culture. These Air Wovens have been modeled after the annual Dragon Boat Festival which people gather to remember the death of Chinese poet Wut Yuen. Nike will be releasing once more their famous Air Force 1 sneaker and this time, they have created it through a collaboration with a Chinese NBA player named as Yi Jianlian. This Nike Air Force 1 is also part of the Nike World 1 Project putting China on the spotlight.
This Nike 1 World Air Force 1 by Yi Jianlian can be considered as one of the most stylish version of Air Force 1 especially with the way they treated it using unique combination of materials. The upper of this sneaker is made with woven leather material that is very much noticeable on the toe box and side panels. This material is also surrounded with an elegant looking crocodile stamped leather found on front, shoelace area, back area, and on the Nike swoosh. This upper is highlighted in soothing cream color way with the silver lace lock as the only accent. This sneaker also includes Yi Jianlian personal logo found on the heel tab. To finish it, they have included on this a cream midsole and black outsole.
Unfortunately, this will only be exclusive to Yi Jianlian country of origin, China. This Nike 1 World Air Force 1 will be expected in China on the 17th of May 2009.
