We have seen classic sneakers in abundance throughout year 2010 and it seems like it will be the same trend as we start the 2011. One of the classic silhouettes that received numbers of colorways last year would be the Nike Challenger which we’re again presenting here in a new color scheme.
The Nike Challenger has been one of the most favorite classic silhouettes particularly because of its simple yet stylish design. It’s now being showcased here with a dominant black upper that looks really good with accents of blue on the Nike swoosh and pink on the tongue piping and Nike branding on the heel tab. Its upper is composed primarily of nylon while suede makes up the trimmings along the eye rows, throat line, toe and heel, and mesh works on the toe box and sock liner. Complementing the upper of this classic pair is a white/blue midsole atop of the black outsole.

Next to a white colorway, the brightly colored shoes are undeniably striking and adorable. It always makes me drool over the shelf and want to have that pair for myself. Such loveable hoop I’m referring to is as gorgeous as this Nike Trainer 1s Vintage Box.
This limited edition of the Nike training sneakers called the Trainer 1 has been unveiled this season. It showcases an orange upper dashed with neutral grey accents on its inner lining and heel with midsole hosting a pattern similar to that of the early Nike shoebox. The pair boasts sturdy materials including suede, nubuck, and the ballistic mesh that made it look more fascinating in a trendy mode.

The holidays are not even over and here we go preparing yet for another special. It seems there are more reasons these days to get yourself some new sneaker but that’s not bad at all provided there are sneaker releases that please the senses.
Take the case of the Nike Dynasty High “Valentine’s Day” Pack sneaker which is a timely release for Heart’s Day. The sneaker actually comes in two color schemes but for Valentine’s Day we prefer the one in a red patent leather upper with the same color applied on the toe panel. It comes with a red patent leather foot strap with a golden heart as accent. Even the shoe laces are in red.
The sneaker has a perforated white toe box, ensuring maximum breathability. This is matched by the white midsole with a re strip midway. It is accented by a metallic gold Nike swoosh and matching tongue.
The other sneaker in the Nike Dynasty High “Valentine’s Day” Pack comes in a teal patent leather upper, with same colored shoe laces. Just like the red pair, this one has a perforated white toe box. It is accented by a metallic silver swoosh and tongue. Of course, the metallic silver heart is also found on the foot strap.

Big Nike High has come out with a new edition in its famous line up.  Big Nike High has released some colourways and special editions like the Spike Lee and Fred Flintstone kicks.  This one has no special name attached to it but it kind of reminds you of a gay James Bond, a tuxedo with a red bow tie.  It’s combination of a white mid, black upper, and crimson laces kind of reminds you a red tuxedo.  Don’t get me wrong, it is very stylish.  The dotted leather from the mid to the rear gives it a rough feel, like on the Nike Air Safari 87.

Spike Lee is one of the most influential filmmakers in the industry today.  He made so many great films that will be his legacy to those who wants to follow his footsteps.  Now, those people will be able to follow him in his footsteps, literally.  Here is a first look at the Nike Sky Force Mid, Spike Lee style.  It has the same colourway as the Jordan Spike that was released last 2006.  What’s different is the iconic Spike Lee glasses on one side and “Brooklyn” printed on another side.  There is also pebbled leather upper with patent leather.  A polka-dotted red ankle completes the whole package.

Turquoise and purple have never looked good together and if you’re in doubt then better see this sneaker with your very own eyes. The : Nike Hypermax Emeka Okafor PEs sneaker which is proof of the improving performance of Emeka Okafor in the courts, with a little help of course from his running mate Chris Paul.
Another Okafor running mate is the Nike Hyperize which he has been wearing since the start of the 2009-2010 season. He is lucky to have not one, but two of these: Nike Hypermax Emeka Okafor PEs for home game and away games.
The Nike Hypermax Emeka Okafor PEs “Away” pair comes in a black leather upper accented by a turquoise flywire on the side panels with matching Nike swoosh and shoe laces. The use of purple on the inner lining and n the tongue is somehow shocking to the senses, but a good one at that.
The “Home” pair comes in a white leather upper accented by turquoise threading on the white flywire. The sneaker is accented by purple Nike swoosh and matching mesh purple tongue. The shoe laces however remain loyal to the turquoise color.
Both the : Nike Hypermax Emeka Okafor PEs “Home” and “Away” pairs have almost the same soles except that the “Away” has a black heel while the “Home” sneaker has a purple heel. You may not be able to get your hands, much less your feet on the sneaker but it is always an aesthetic pleasure to see these great sneakers.

The Nike Dynasty High “Georgetown Hoyas” sneaker comes in a black leather upper, accented by perforated grey on the toe box up to the tongue. It sports a grey Nike swoosh and matching shoelaces. Hints of the Georgetown signature pattern can be found on the heel and ankle area as well as the nylon foot strap.
