While they will definitely appeal to a different type of Jordan fan than the ones that get all worked up over his basketball shoes, it certainly can’t be denied that Jordan Brand knows how to make a functional and stylish pair of shoes for other sports as well. A good example of this is the new Air Jordan Jeter Prime that we are looking at right here. Derek Jeter has been part of the Jordan Brand team for quite a while now, but we think that this is his best signature shoe yet. The shoe looks super comfortable as well as ultra light which will help for those on the spot pivots and acrobatics that Derek is so well known for. The colorway is simple yet efficient and has even managed to work a bit of patent leather into the mix as well. What do you all think of this new installment for Mr. jeter?

We first heard back in October that Jordan had plans to release two new pairs of the Air Jordan I AJKO and it looks like those rumors were indeed true. Some detailed shots of the white, varsity red and black pair have just hit the internet and of course that means we are here to show you the goods. The shots here do a good job at showing you exactly how these shoes will bring you the retro design that some fans desire so much. They will have the dirtied up look applied to the sole both on the bottom as well as yellowing on the white midsole. The canvas of the shoe will definitely feature some vintage effects as well making these feel that much more like an OG Jordan 1 sneaker. Hard to believe that it has already been 25 years since the first time a pair of these hit the court on Michael’s feet.

Ever since the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low was first released it has received a mixed reaction from fas, some praise and some negative saying that they have tampered with a classic design. We have no official stance on the issue but we do know that we like this new Air Jordan 1 Phat Low in this white, green and gum colorway. This one has already started popping up in select Jordan brand retailers so by the time you finish reading this you should be able to go out and get your hands on a pair if you know where to look.. The upper will contain both smooth and perforated leather with dark army accents around the ankle and tongue lining as well as on the shoelaces. This is also accented by a gum sole that really works to make the shoe pop and come to life. An official nation-wide release has still yet to be announced.

With Derek Jeter winning his fifth World Series Ring this past season with the New York Yankees, Jordan Brand has decided to give Jeter a new sneaker. The new shoe is dubbed the Jordan Jeter Prime. This pair draws resemblance from the Jeter Clutch, which was released back in 2008. The shoe features a simple look, with a black and white colorway. Black is seen on most of the base which is made of suede. White is seen on the midsole, stitching, and tongue tag. Added features include a black patent leather strip around the shoe, a black outsole, and perforations seen on the side panels. You can pick these up now at Marquee Sole.

Here we see a pair of Air Jordan 3s that never was released. The pair is as simple as is could get with a white/black colorway. The shoe features white on the upper and heel with black placed on the tongue, laces, eyelets, and inner lining. The outsole is also done up in black. It has a hand written number on the outer heel and a single digit on the inner heel, but is not know why it was placed there. Sorry but this is one of one and will not be released. The pair was put up for auction on eBay and one lucky buyer was awarded the shoe for ,860.00.

Aqua has been used quite a bit on Air Jordans, but putting it on this shoe was not a good idea by Jordan Brand. The shoe comes in a Cool Grey/Purple/Aqua with black accents. Cool grey is seen on most of the sneaker including the upper while purple is placed on the inner lining. The Jumpan logo, eyelets, and tongue are all made in aqua. The shoe is finished with a grey midsole and black outsole. Im sure most sneakerheads are holding back tears after seeing this pair of Jordans. Available now at select Jordan retailers.

Spike Lee and Jordan Brand have teamed up once again to give us another Air Jordan Spizike. The Spizike is basically a fusion that is made from the same features of the 3s,5s,6s, and more Air Jordan models. This new Spizike comes in a white/blue/red colorway. The shoe features a white leather base with fire red, black and elephant print accents throughout the sneaker. Red is seen on the lower eyelets and part of the midsole with black covering the rest of the midsole. The inner lining and top eyelets and covered with blue while elephant print is seen towards the back of the shoe. With all of the Spizikes we have seen over the years, this has to be the best looking pair yet. These are available now at Jordan retailers.

As most of you know, 2010 is Jordan Brands 25th Anniversary. To celebrate the anniversary Jordan Brand will release a Silver Anniversary Collection. All pairs in the collection will be all white, including this sneaker. The shoe comes in a white/silver colorway. White is seen on most of the shoe including the patent leather upper, laces, and tongue. Silver is not seen much but it is featured on the stitching. Like most 11s, the shoe is finished with a clear icy outsole. Being a big fan of 11s, this is probably my favorite pair in the Silver Anniversary Collection. No release date yet but MarqueeSole has a few pairs in stock so dont sleep!

What a good way to end the year than with the announcement of this new Air Jordan Alpha 1 Ray Allen PE? This one features a predominantly black base bute with Christmas colored accents like the green inner lining and outsole and the red swoosh and laces. The perforated leather on the sidepanel and toebox is really nice as well.
