The Nike Sportswear spring 2010 collection features some pretty sweet kicks. One of them is this Nike Sportswear Classic Cortez. The official colorway of this shoe is dubbed Black/Vibrant Yellow. As you see, most of the sneaker is constructed in nylon. Most of the sneaker also features black. White is used areas such as the midsole, Nike Swoosh, tongue, and inner lining. Yellow is seen just above the sole and the Nike branding on the heel and tongue tag. Overall, the shoe is nothing compared to the Blazer and Dunk. But with a little more support, these could be big. These are available now at select Nike retailers.

Nike Cortez White/Navy Blue

You may not have seen much of this sneaker model over the year but what is good about the Cortez is that sneakers lovers have shown their appreciation for the few colorways that have been released.
The Nike Cortez White/Navy Blue sneaker is just another example of what clean sneakers look like. It comes in a primarily white leather upper, with perforations on the side panel forming the Nike swoosh.
Aside from white, the sneaker is bereft of any other color except for the navy blue accent on the tongue tag, the heel and the midsole. This sneaker is among the few classic designs that many sneaker fans have come to love. If you’re one of these peeps then go get them at Mita.
The white midsole and off-white outsole is given more emphasis by the navy blue detailing in between. An all-white sneaker can be a boon especially if you have found the right color partner for it. And this time, the Nike Cortez White/Navy Blue sneaker can proudly say it has found the right color combination.

We have seen a number of new colorways of the Nike Cortez the past couple of months, yet all of them have not been to my liking. The latest colorway features green nylon on the upper, toe box, heel, and lace holes. Added features include white Swoosh and outsole with yellow accents on the midsole, tongue tag, and near the ankle. The would be great for any Oakland Athletics fan and are set to release in February 2010.

Nike Classic Cortez Nylon Icons White + Black + Orange

Even if ‘the summer of George’ is a dozen years past, the Nike Cortez still finds new ways to remain relevant.  We’ve seen a bunch of Flywire-equipped updates lately and here are a few in the classic style.  The Nike Cortez Nylon features suede accents on three new styles.  With pairs in white/black, black/white/pink and orange/white, all three achieve the retro vibe, sans vintage detailing.  We expect these at Nike Sportwear retailers stateside shortly, but in the meantime, you can cop em now from mita sneakers.
