Hiroshi Fujiwara has been all over the place recently, collaborating with Converse and Nike as of late. But, Mr. Fujiwara has gone back to his Nike roots to the collaboration that pretty much started it all. The fragment design x Nike Sportswear Tennis Classic once again exemplifies Hiroshi’s genius using a simple yet elegant white/gold colorway. The Tennis Classic uses a white leather upper and perforated swoosh, complete with metallic gold accents on the tongue tag and back heel panel, where the fragment logo is placed. A simple pair of sneakers these are by Fujiwara that will be available in limited numbers exclusively in Asia come January 2010.

Continuing with vintage Tennis Classic releases, Nike will be releasing their Nike Tennis Classic in a Vintage Green colorway. The Tennis Classic features an all white upper with green accents and a perforated swoosh. The laces also feature subtle green accents which bring together the vintage feel of a very classic Nike sneaker.

The Nike Tennis Classic, true to it’s name is definitely a classic shoe, that doesn’t need 8 wild new colorways every month to keep it interesting. This latest colorway, keeps it simple just like the shoe itself, with a predominantly white upper and light blue accents. These are available now.

After the release of the Spring/Summer 2009 vintage collection, here’s the first look at the Nike Tennis Classic Vintage from the Fall 2009 collection series. The kicks comes in two contrasting colors made of premium leather – white and black. The white pair is accented by neon yellow laces, while the black one comes in red. Will be available Fall 2009, no release date yet. So stay tuned for further info.

The Vintage Tennis is one of Nike’s classic icons and now comes in four colorways. Each has a mixture of a mesh and leather upper with Beige rubber sole. Two of the kicks come in a Beige mesh upper with Brown suede toebox, eyelets, and heel and a Red Swoosh and ankle cap, while the other has the same upper but with Navy Swoosh and ankle cap. The other two pairs come in a White leather upper with one having Red accents and the other with a Blue accents with the Swoosh being perforated.
